Emotional Freedom Techniques

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT for short) is also known as tapping. It is an evidence-based mind-body technique that combines acupressure points with modern psychology.


Tapping on these points whilst focusing on emotional challenges can allow you to reframe the negative emotions and beliefs attached to them. EFT can help to regulate the nervous system and lower cortisol resulting in calmness and clarity. The acupressure tapping points are on the face, hands and upper body and can be practiced alone or with the guidance of a practitioner.

How can EFT tapping help?

Emotional Freedom Techniques can be helpful for a wide

 range of emotional and physical challenges. 

It is commonly used to support people experiencing:

  • Phobias and fears

EFT tapping is considered a safe, gentle, and non-invasive approach, with no known serious side effects. It can be used on its own or alongside other therapeutic and coaching techniques as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing.
